The ‘Conjuring’ House Pulled from Halloween Auction

The famed farmhouse in Burrillville, Rhode Island, known as the inspiration for the horror film The Conjuring, was scheduled for a foreclosure auction on Halloween (October 31, 2025) at 11 am. It’s the same 1736‑built home where Ed Warren and Lorraine Warren investigated the haunting reported by the Perron family. However, the auction was cancelled after the mortgage lender sold the underlying loan to a mystery buyer. Now the question is, what’s next for the legendary haunted house?
