Mount Kisco Elementary School is a K-5 school with approximately 600 students. Mount Kisco Elementary School opened its doors in the fall of 1895 with six classrooms, a large assembly room, a library, an apparatus room, and a reception area, under the leadership of Miss Adelaide Norris, the first principal with a staff of four teachers. In 1912, a new school was built and from that point extensions to the new building were added over the years. Today, the school has a beautiful building added to the original building. This building boasts enough classrooms for all learners. There is also a Circus Playground, Roary’s Den, and the Community Garden on the grounds to enjoy. The district middle and high schools are Fox Lane Middle School and Fox Lane High School.
Mount Kisco Elementary School is part of the Bedford Central School District.
